Exhaust and Warranty

Now I know almost all of us has a GM Warranty on their Cobalt. When yall change out exhaust mufflers to an aftermarket one... what does that do to your warranty? Has anybody found out, questioned GM, or can someone help me out? Thx

The new exhaust, and old one for that matter would no longer be covered, but the rest of your warranty should remain in tact!

If you swap out your exhaust and you have exhaust related troubles the GM warrenty isn't going to cover it.

Yep what the others siad, GM wont warranty your new exaust, so if it gets a hole in it, or breaks or pops too much, they will laugh at you if you try to get them to fix it, cause its not theirs.

If your tranny locks up, or your engine blows, you are still covered, exaust has nothing to do with that.
