Is zzp the ONLY company that sells a 304 stainless steel 3inch exhaust? I think not, but they claim they are!

1. What makes this better than other 3 inch exhaust systems?

ZZP is the only company making a 304 stainless catback exhaust in 3" for the LSJ. Our system was developed specifically for the Cobalt/Ions.

Last time I checked there were several companies that sold 304 stainless catback systems for the LSJ. Here are a few!

And I am sure there are more but I don't feel like looking for them. I just wanted to point out to zzp that this was false advertisement and that they should edit there website. Granted zzp MAY have made this first, but currently it is NOT the only option out there.

Zoomer, please take care of this for me. This is not an attack against zzp of any sort, I just would like to see this taken care of. Thank you!

hmm to the best of my knowledge the ark n2 was 2.5inch, but I could be wrong.

I am buying the exhaust from mandrel exhaust system actually. A mandrel bent exhaust is a mandrel bent exhaust. With a borla muffler + a large resonator, and I am set. As far as the header and downpipe, I am probably going to go with a pacesetter + random downpipe, just depends on if my buddy comes through on a deal or not =D.

 

At the time it was posted they probably were the only ones. No big deal

 

Ya its not a big deal at all really, I just wanted zzp to take care of it because I would hate to see them get in trouble, if that's even possible. Just looking out for a vendor .

The page was last updated in Nov of 2007, so it could use a revamp.

The problem with most companies advertising 304 stainless downpipes and exhausts is that they are only talking about the piping. I have never seen another company use 304 flanges. Normally their are other parts that aren't stainless as well.

Admittedly, the ZZP exhaust is no longer 304 completely because Magnaflow does not use 304 for anything. But as stated, we need to update the page.
