few questions

few months ago i blew a spark plug out of my head and i helicoiled it as a repair since no head was available and this is my dd. my question is, is i have a 2.8 60,s and meth i was getting ready to install right now im on a 2.9 and 42,s no meth. any one know if it would be safe putting on the smaller pulley and meth with a helicoil or should i buy a new head first

make sure you gap ur plugs correctly .032

not sure how it came out the plugs were in the head for over a year. i guess it backed itself out i honestly dont know it ended up smashing the coil aswell also melted the valve cover gasket so no i have a little oil leaking into the hole. but yeah thats what my thought was is to wait for the new head but im not looking forward to swapping them.. fml

dude it wont hurt a thing to pully down and add meth the fix you have is a solid fix and a permanant one just antseize your plugs everytime you replace them and make sure they are tight

well by not using antiseize it will allow the the threads to carode and if the plug wasent tightened enough they will back out

yeah like i said tho the plugs had been in there for over a year so im not sure exactly what happened but i got lucky no internal damage had occurred so now once or twice a month i check my plugs.
