Few questions. Please help

Hey Css.net. I have a cobalt ss with a gm stage 2 it has intake and exhaust. I recently purchased a 2.8 2 step colder plugs zzp s3 he and 60 injectors. I plan on having a custom Dyno tune done. Is it possible o tune the PCM? I heard something about a lock on it. If I can't have it tuned what should I do? Please help, thankss

yes you can tune it with hptuners but it cost 2 credits/$100 to unlock it plus what ever the tuner charges. The gm stage 3 computer is locked and untunable.

yes you can but stay out of boost cause the injectors will be too big. make sure you drive straight to the tuner that isnt an hour away. I changed my injectors in a parking lot with simple hand tools. I can also change my pulley with an allen key and a chisel.

The car is going to run like absolute crap if you drive on 60# injectors without a tune. It may even hardly run. It is better to install the injectors when you are getting the tune.

Also, the stage 3 PCM can be tuned as well as the stock PCM.

yeah def shift at like 1200 and dont get on it at all on the way to the tune shop, if you can trailer it to be safe, or just put it on at the tuner shop.
