A few quick (simple) questions....

I have been amassing parts for smaller pulley and injector swap. Car is currently tuned (by me via HPTuners) and has Magnaflow CB and Injecn CAI. I understand with certain mods I will need cooling/exhaust upgrades, not asking about that.

1. When is it time to upgrade fuel pump? I have 60LB injectors...

2. When is it time to tune VE, I have a 3.0, 2.8 and 2.6 pulleys...

I realize I just need to load a stage 2 tune with the 3.0, anyone run that tune with the 2.8 or 2.6? Thanks for any and all help!!!

You will be lean if you run the S2 tune on anything other than that 3.0. Our cars can handle 400whp on the stock pump, and you could run E with 80's on it if you wanted. The 2.8 or 2.6 would require diff tunes to run properly.

Thanks!!! Aside from full out wideband tuning where would one find a 2.8 or 2.6 tune?

That is not 100% correct.

You can actually become rich, because the PCM will try and cmnd the same 10.8 AFR of the GMS2 tune when it senses the increased airflow from smaller pulleys. The injectors will become static and just dump fuel once they loose control, because the PCM is trying to maintain the rich AFR of the GMS2 tune.

You would spike lean for sure on a redic small pulley if you tried running it on the GM tune & 42's though.
