Talking Final B&M Install Pics

So, after getting everything back in, and wiping it down with some 303, here is what it looks like......I love it!

Again, my Momo knob makes it look taller than what B&M provides.

Ripping through the gears has never been more fun.

im sure its shorter, but it looks taller because the leather thing doesnt go all the way up and it looks thin and tall.

Got mine in too and believe me it is not taller, it's actually a little shorter. You have got to get the shifter people, once you go B & M you'll never be without it again! It's sturdier and the shifts are quite a bit shorter too

I will post pictures later on today like 12 or so after i get my tach installed. Shifts are definately shorter and smoother. Forth gear is where neutral used to be.

It is the knob....if I could remove the Reverse lockout, I could put it down another inch. The shifts are still short, and crisp. Plus, that knob feels sooooo much better than the stock one and a little better than the B&M knob.

Don't let my setup sway your decision, it is a great shifter.

Yeah, I need to turn it around, but it was late.

I like the height, and like others have been saying, 4th is where neutral was, and the shift from 1-2 is incredibly short. I can go from 3-4 with a flick of the wrist.

The momo knob is about a 1/2 lb heavier than the B&M, and seems to help.

I picked mine up from Cardomain.com. Just make sure it says that it is reverse lockout compatible.

Is that knob a standard shifter knob or is it a "Reverse Compatable Knob"?

Also guys, this knob has a threaded stalk, and is designed to be used with the knob supplied with the shifter. HOWEVER, you can use any aftermarket shift knob that has the sleeve / locking ring type system, as those will fit onto the b&m stalk with no problems.
