Gains to be had going from GMS2 to Trifecta tune?
Gains to be had going from GMS2 to Trifecta tune?
Just curious if there are any gains to be had going from GMS2 to trifecta tune?
2007 SS/SC
Mods:
GMS2
AEM Dryflow filter/airbox mod
ZZP Mid-length header, ZZP Downpipe w/high flow cat
ZZP 2.5" Catback
Anything less than 10hp wouldn't be worth it to me.

post tuning questions in the tuning section of the forum the main difference between trifecta and a standard hpt not much trifecta uses hpt and his own software to give you a remote tune but it is a much longer process as it is done remote and if you need to have adjustemnts made well its gonna take longer
Sorry, I didn't see a tuning section. Thanks for the info. Besides the consensus that most people prefer HPT to Trifecta, has anyone gotten a custom tune, or trifecta tune vs gms2 and seen any decent gains?
The downfall to a Trifecta tune with an LSJ is you can't datalog your AFR for Vince to see and dial in. He just puts more fuel in then whats needed to be safe. Friend of mine got Trifecta tuned then hooked up a wideband a few weeks later and was 10.0 a WOT. That's as low as the gauge goes haha. It's inbetween a canned tuned and custom tune IMO.
