gas mileage
what gas mileage are you getting with your setup and tune. i got a 2.8 with 60's and im getting like 24 mpg at like 70-75..... i think thats a little low but wutever......
27.4 MPG is what my ECON. currently showss. That is with a combination of Hwy and city driving. If I stick to the Hwy I get prolly 29 or so.
I filled up today and it cost me $42 on the dot. First time it has ever taken that much to fill up. When I first got my car it was less than half that amount to fill up. Outrageous I tell you!! lol

I drove out to Cleveland to swap lids w/ a member this past weekend to get rid of my high-rise.
Before w/ the highrise, I averaged ~38mpg on the highway and ~32 average for my daily driving.
With a clean lid, I averaged ~42mpg highway the whole 500 miles back to Albany. We'll see what my daily driving average comes out to be.
I'm on a 2.79" pulley w/ 60lb/hr SD injectors, tuned by Matt @ TTP...

but what do you have done??? i just retuned my car and i was getting about 25.3 at 75 mph... i keep hearing ppl say thry are doing 32 mpg.... i need to know cuz i work far, and its hurting my pockets big time. im considering actually getting the stg 2 inj and tune to get that gas mileage..
i got 37.5-38 mpg last weekend when i went to amarillo and i have a few mods was very impressed
lol and that was right after a new oil change and i have a stage 2 a 2.9 pully an fujita CAI and some NGK spark plugs i really need a tune tho!!
I'm getting 41 mpg going 60 and 31 going 80 and i still average about 27-28 in city and highway with the occasional traffic jam and wot every couple of days. people don't believe me when i say u get better fuel economy with a supercharger and my car is almost 3000lbs but hey my 4th gear is an overdrive : .98, and my 5th ( if the car was capable) can hit redline at 182mph. the best attribute is more fuel efficiency when it comes to the sc over the tc. So when i tell people i get 44mpg going 52 and they don't believe me i'll let them ride in the car for a fuel efficient ride. Gone are the days of riding in something quick. Now its all about fuel economy. So yes i have 270 horse and get almost 45 to the gallon. i love my ss
I dont want to be a dick here, but you people are claiming to get better gas miledge than people get with N/A cars, that weigh less than our car and are designed as ECONOMY cars.
Dont trust computer readouts to tell you your gas miledge. They arent acurate. Fill your tank till the pump clicks, take note of your odometer reading or reset the trip computer. Then next time you fill up, do it again until the pump click again. Then take note of the amount of fuel you put in, and the number of miles you drove. Divide miles by gallons and you have your average. Do this a couple of times and you will have your usualy MPG average.
I am sorry, but some of you are claiming better MPG than cars like the PRIUS, and the FIT....

i honestly get 350+ miles per tank on 60s before the low fuel indicator light comes on. You need to tune the VE tables to get the most out of it.
I know alot of people dont really care but it doesnt take long to get them "roughed" in.

Again the only way to figure out MPG figures is to do the method listed in the post above.
Well I would like to know how I was making 31mpg in El Paso at 4000' and moved to Oklahoma and am getting 35mpg at a lower altitude. Can someone explain that to me and how to fix it? Thanks.
