Gas mileage!

I think my car broke. How many miles is everyone getting on a full tank that has like a stage 3 from intense? Thats the equivalent to what I have almost. I just filled up with 93 octane and put 36 miles on a new tank and now im at a 3/4 of a tank and it says i am getting 30.3 mpg

I hate it!

Are you getting on the gas hard? Any WOT starts for me getting on the interstate drops me about 1/16 a tank. It may not be that much, but its visible. I burned 1/8 a tank racing on the way home from class the other day.

Humh???? Wasting a quarter of a tank over 36 miles is like 8 mpg, not 30.3 mpg! Something is messed up there. Getting 30.3 mpg is insanley good mileage.

Dont base your mileage on the gauge. Base it on the miles traveled over the course of a tank. So when you refill note how many gallons you filled up, and take your total trip mileage and divide it by your usage. Gauges are not accurate.

you must fill up like every 1,000 miles with that kind of milage.

Once you use computers, reliability goes out the window

I hear that! Last time I filled my tank in Maryland i looked at the range I had and it said 380 miles. After filling it up today it said 267 miles. Gauge is no way accurate.

opened up bottom air box, original spk plugs, I get between 25/28 MPG calculated manually, if I stay in negative boost a lot, shift at very low RPM, & don't get on it too often. If you wind it up through the gears often, the mileage decreases dramatically. My DIC gauge is always off 2/3 MPG.

I'm getting about 26.5 (manual calculation) in mixed driving. Granted I am stock and I also punch it atleast a few times daily. I am almost afraid to go stage two because I would hate to think I would get less then 20mpg. I need to get this wheel hope cured before I add more ponies anyway.

I usually get about 25-26 mpg in the city, and 30-36 highway. I can get as much as 40 if I draft behind a semi truck
