i hear you gain mileage cuz the engine has to work less hard to put just as much fuel into the engine because of the bigger injectors...i'll be checking this during the next few weeks cuz i jus got everything running good

Really, there should be no difference, as the car is still in vacuum, and still trying to run at stoich.

A good tune, and good driving habits will aid in gaining fuel economy, though.

its all about your foot..

volumetric effiecieny increases so less work is done by the motor.. however just Adding a bigger fuel system on a stock car.. dont expect anything..

seriously though.. just live by the thumb rule of bigger means less... its not 100% true but your not going to change the way you drive 100% either to accomdate for it.

could gas mileage go up.... yes.. should it.. yes theoritcally.. but will it... nope

has everything to do with tuning.
there are some simple tricks you can do to get great improvements.
I just tuned a 2.4 yesterday, and got his mileage from 30 up to 35 im a matter of minutes.

I get 45mpg on 60lb injectors, on the same tune that i run 13.3 at the track.

so make of that what you will

in general im gonna say you will lose MPG unless your good at tuning. i my self am a newb at tuning... i went just stage 1 from stock and i noticed about 3 mpg decrease i used the standad gm reflash vie hpttuners and made a few other changes but nothign major... so to me yes you lose mileage unless you tune for it other wise which i dont know how to do nor have experience doing... hope my input helps...

I just went stage 2 last week, and my mileage has gone up 2 mpg's ....from what I understand the stock fuel injectors run at a high duty cycle, so they're working their ass off to produce power, where as with the bigger size it reduces this....not to mention they're brand new so the spray is more efficient.
