gauge install help!

ok soo im attenpting to install a boost guage, its the autometer cobalt boost/vacuum gauge. can somebody help me with the vacuum line? i dont know exactly what to do! do i cut the vacuum line in the engine bay and then use the t-fitting to do the rest or how do i do it? pics would help! and how/where exactly do you put the nylon vacuum hose through the firewall? again pics would help! thanks whoever helps me +1 rep!!

i actually just installed one....im not turbo yet but i installed it just to install it.....it took me about 30 mins to get it all done.....first you need to find a decent location for your guage. i put mine on the a pillar just like a stock ss. i routed the wiring and tube down the side of the dash and through the firewall. theres a grommet right behind the brake and routed both the electrical and tubing through there...once that was done i use the add a circuit fuse and i connected all my electrical stuff in the fuse box. then i just cut the vacumm line and connected the boost line to the vacumm line....and there u will have a vacumm reading or boost readin if u run it to you bov too. theres a pic i can show you let me find the link
