the biggest weakness of this car is the headgasket and studs. with an upgraded headgasket and studs the stage 4 could put out 380 whp wth no pston meltdown issues

Yeah but doesn't gm rate the pistons to only like 270-280hp?

In all fairness they only rate the car at 205hp so I bet GM's estimate is conservative. Twincharged has more power than that and hasn't messed up his pistons.

It's fine and dandy to say hey great they under rated my car it actually has more power. But, I wouldn't use the same logic and say, "Ah screw gm, I'm sure my pistons can take 300+ hp", and then have one come shooting through your hood. lol

I'm not saying screw GM, I was saying that the Twincharged Red Line is running more power than 270-280 and hasn't had a piston come through his hood. So that would lead one to belive that the estamate on the pistons are on the conservative side.

Stage 1 (currently available)
Revitup boost upgrade kit
includes, 2.8 pulley
idler pulley
revitup tuner box (price 500.00)
aprox gains 35-40 whp

Stage 2 Upgrade (needs stage one) (available march of 2006)
Includes a revitup exclusive max fuel and air system which is electronically controled by the tuner box. add this to stage 1 and gain an additional 20-30 whp not only that but this will provide you all the fuel you will ever need for this car . and opens up the opportunity to safely run our stage 3 and 4 kits being released spring of 2006. (price tba)

Stage 3 Kit (totaly kept under the dl) (realease spring of 2006)

Stage 4 kit Twin Charger Kit (release summer of 2006)
So does that mean the fuel and air system provides additional fuel with out the need for bigger injectors?? (I didn't see that injectors came w/ stage 1). Also, we will need to purchase the stage 1 and 2 kits in order to run stage 3 or 4? Any ballpark estimates on the twin-charge kit? I'm assuming it'll be well over $3k correct?

Man I'm excited, you guys just made my day.

They aren't using bigger injectors, they are adding 4 more injectors with the stage 2.

You will need stage 1 and 2 to use stage 3. Stage 4 will be seperate.

So Stage 4 will be it's own kit, no need for the others, correct?

That's how I understand it.

Check the Redline Forums they have a little more info about the kits there.

So if a big turbo upgrade for a SRT-4 is 3-4k then our stage 4 will be cheaper? so $2500-3k?

I think those prices are for the turbo and manifold only?

why not just offer a conventional turbo kit? Switching from SC to TC is easy. Machine a block off plate for where the snout connects and just take out the rotors. Instant intake manifold. Sure its not the best out there, but it works. That is what GTP owners do when they go turbo.

well i said i was only going to buy the stage kits, but this is the way to go appearently.. great work guys

also, will you offer a 2.9" pulley or is it only a 2.8" ? the 2.9" keeps the blower under the redline, the 2.8" goes over a bit on the top end of the rpm range. i know it's just a little, but blowers are expensive lol.. it's cheaper to replace a full set of pistons and rods than a single blower

I'll try and outline the kits one more time and clarify a few things

Stage 1: Current Kit that Revitup carries. This includes:
1)Tuner Box
2)Idler pulley
3)2.8 inch supercharger pulley

Stage 2:
1) Stage 1 (If not purchased Previously)
2) RU-Fat (RevitUp Fuel Air Tuner) which consists of a fuel rail, 4 injectors, and a spacer plate to go between the S/C and the head.

Stage 3: We are looking for upwards of 100whp over stock with this kit
1) Stage 1 (If not purchased Previously)
2) Stage 2 (If not purchased Previously)
3) *something that i'm not allowed to disclose because Ray will hit me*

Stage 4: This is where it gets a little complicated
1) Tuner Box from stage 1
2) RU-Fat
3) Rest of the kit including larger S/C pully, idler, etc

Stage 1 we are looking for about 30 - 40hp over stock
Stage 2 should be another 30 hp
Stage 3 should be another 50 hp
Stage 4 should be ludicris

With the first 3 stages we are staying within acceptable limits for the stock motor while also keeping the install to a light/moderate level so that it can be installed by someone familiar with a wrench

With stage 4 we are going to push the same limit as stage 3, however with the addition of head studs and an upgraded gasket, we will have the ability here to climb even higher. This is why, because of the head work and some of the light fabrication, we are telling people this isn't for the average tuner.
