The kit is tuned for the 2.8" pully, so if you want to use the engine management with a 2.9 you'll have to get everything checked on a wideband after the install.

We can do that, but you need an extra o2 bung in the exhaust.

Well it looks like getting the Stage 2 kit from Revitup is going to make the same amount of power as the Intense racing kit without spending the money to tune it.

So Ray or Tiny: With the Stage 2 kit do you have a price yet and since it comes with a fuel rail and injectors i'm assuming that they are larger injectors. This sounds very appealing

Okay, i'm going to ask that people try to stop comparing our kit to someone else, because, in all honesty, no one knows the real story. If you look at our dyno sheets before and after, we made 191whp with the stock car, and 230 with our stage 1 kit ON THE SAME DYNO on the same day. How could a 2.8" pully produce 40 more whp on 2 identical cars? Also, if you look at some of the posts put up by twincharged, you start to get an idea of how this car needs to be tuned, and throwing bigger injectors in the car and tuning based on a 1 dimensional translator is not the way to go. It's easy to tune the car at full throttle, but what about driveability.

And we are also talking, by stage 3, about 100+ whp gain over stock. Thats a lot of horsepower.

the revitup kit looks like it has the most potential.. especially since they are adding additional injectors, and after reading all of this information twincharge posts, he knows what these ecotecs specifically are capable of.

as far as the adapter plate going between the blower, is there going to be enough room to install an alcohol injector, or would there even be any benefit to it running it, with your stage 2-3 installed?

I'm not trying to compare, i'm just saying your kit looks as it's the better option for the plain and simple fact of not going somewhere and having it tuned by someone because your kit already comes pretuned. I think it's awesome what you guys are doing. The reason why people may be comparing is because these are the only KITS available that are in somewhat competition with one another. They are both kits that make more HP.

Yes, there are some wires that will need to be tapped into with the Tunerbox

You would have to delete your software, re-install the new version of the software and upload our new map and you'll be good.

Actually, when is it available and how much? I just went over all 4 pages of this post and haven't seen any of that sort of information available. Thanks!

So is the tuner box like a ECU reprogram or will we still need to get that done?

Stage 1 is available now on the website
Stage 2 should be ready for the final prototype install in a few weeks. At this point we'll get pictures, specs, and start taking pre-orders
Stage 3 Will be available about 2 weeks after stage 3.

Prices are not set in stone yet. I'm waiting to hear back from 2 vendors, then i'll be able to broadcast a price.

Okay I know this question is pretty bland, but on comparison to the SRT-4 Stage upgrades, around what performance level should we expect from the Stage 3 kit from Revitup? At this point I would be completely satisfied if I knew purchasing the Stage 3 kit from you guys would equal similar performance to a stage 3 SRT-4 @ the track (not considering other variables such as driver, other mods, and assuming on street tires). I'm willing to go with the twin-charge kit if necessary, however if Stage 3 would mean having the potential to hit 12's I may just go that route.

If stage 3 = 100 more whp then I guarantee you will have ample power to hit 12's.

Thumbs up

yep what clown said .... keep in mind a stage 3 on a srt-4 is alot more than a pulley

so it will be harder to make power like a SRT-4 them cars are upgrade happy! lol
not saying it cant be done just more time, Rev it up kit will be installed on my car soon just gotta get my gauges and exhaust first
