Getting frusterated..Please help.

Ok so i have 2.8 pulley and i decide im going to put on a 2.6. When i put it on it rubs on the snout so hard that you can turn the pulley. So i take it off and use a dremel and slightly grind off both the snout and the pulley..I put it back on and same crap....ive been going through the crap for 2 hours now and i dont want to shave the pulley thin so what can i do next? Shouldnt the 2.6 be fine on there? both pulley and hub are from ZZP. Please help guys.. Im thinking about tomorrow pulling off the supercharger and playing with it some more.

The pulleys are balanced?.......DAMN...so if i put it on the way it is, what will it do? also what did you put on the lathe the pulley or the snout, cause i got a lathe and i was hoping that i can save this pulley.

ZZP Claims that their 2.6 works without snout machining, but you're one of dozens who have proven that false. What you'll have to do is probably dremel or file down the supports on the snout a bit. Your other option would be to just purchase the pulley from me which fits w/o snout machining!

i have the 2.6 pulley and i have no problem with the snout...no customizing at all...u just thave to use the hub that comes with the new pulley, that is what gives it the spacing needed.
