gm clutch

i currently have the spec stage 3 clutch but its pretty much done. i was wondering if anyone has tried the new gm performance clutch, if so how did you like it. they claim it can hold 300 hp. i should be somewhere between 280 and 300 whp after i put my 2.5 on and get retuned. do you guys think that this clutch could hold that kind of power even though its rated at 300 hp and not 300 whp. thanks

clutches go by tq rating btw, not hp. was it a regular "spec stage 3" or was it a "spec stage 3+"? a lot of people have had trouble with the regular ones slipping

i know they go by torque rating. gm's the one that rated it by horsepower not me. i didnt want to spend a grand for a clutch, thats why i was looking at gm's. and yea i have the regular spec stage 3(6 puc)

Yeah. I've never had the setup 100%, but i do drive my car harder than anyone and it's been up near 300 HP for quite some time now.

It's on the way, just give it a little more time.

GMTunerSource.com will have the official announcement of when it is ready.
