GM Performance Divison developed the 2.4L SS as well. I have this on authority from GM.

Obviously the package is not as intense as the S/C SS. But it is legitimate and deserving.

Seems like they raided the corprate parts bin--the FE3 suspension is almost identical to the ION RL, they took the axles and brakes from the S/C SS, it has a unique engine (not on other Cobalts) and still beefy 17" rims.

Too bad they did not take the quaife ltd slip

I bought a badge and was wondering where to place it.

 

That badge will add about 10 HP if put under the hood and 20 if it is on the exterior!

 

Whats with you and freaking out about what parts were used on the SS 2.4 and that GM Perfromance Division had anything to do with it?

I'd say the car deserves the badge but you don't. All they asked was why. None said you shouldn't put it on. Remeber you have a ss it's not like your putting it on a base.
