Use the search button and just type in stage 1 or stage 2. You will get some good threads on that topic.

Next time take it to a different dealer for all your work. 3 hours labor for injectors and a flash is a rip-off. If it was me, I would show them the tail lights for the last time. Remember you are not married to the place you bought your car from. The warranty will follow you from dealership to dealership.

Ok thats what I figured. Since it just plugs into the OBD port but just checking.

Jesus christ, there are about 10 threads on the first page here alone.

Stage 1 is injectors and a computer re-flash

Stage 2 is the same as Stage 1 with the addition of a smaller Supercharger Pulley

Got an escape route planned from Langley? At that time on Firday the Port Mann is gonna be a bitch. An hour down HWY 1 for sure. And with the extra ponies, it will seem like 10 hours.

you have to remember they are just learning to install this on cars, although they should only charge you the same.

I told the shop that I had to be out by noon. Then I figure 15-20 miutes for the service manager to have his spin in it. I should be on the freeway at 12:30. My appointment is 2 in Langley so I think I will be able to get to Abbotsford (looking for police on duty) and then turn around. The ride back from Abby to Langley should be a blast.

Bullshit. It took them 3 hours to install injectors and reflash the ecu? Injectors should take about 15 minutes and the reflash no more than 30. Shady dealers **** me off.

Yep.

It doesn't matter if this is new to the Cobalt. It is still swapping injectors and flashing the computer. The techs know how to do this with their eyes closed.

the guy had the dealership just called me and told me that labor alone for stage 2 would be around $471. so if i can really get stage 1 or 2 for that price i will install it myself and just pay for the reflash which should be about 50 bucks. they also said it will take about 4.5 hours to install. stupid dealership.

I buy nothing in Canada anymore. Our dollar is doing great but the prices of things are not dropping a cent. Even with employee pricing in Canada your still not going to touch the US's list prices.
