to me the biggest difference between stg1 and a smaller pulley and stg2 is the fact that stg2 gives you a belt measured perfectly for the smaller pulley... you can safely run stg1 with a 3.15 pulley and you will only be losing around 2 hp and 5 lbs of tq but to go smaller with stg1 you would need a larger idler pulley.....

Piggy back units piggy back the ecu to trick it and make more power.

Also we should be seeing a dyno on stage 2 in about 3 hours.

 

Ok gm claims their car to have 205 hp.... and said this upgrade will increase it to 245 hp....


Hence me assuming that we will be getting a 40 whp increase.


YES I have modded a car it was a 1991 Supra turbo that put down around 400 hp by the time I was done with it....
Dont give me b.s about not appreciating this kit ofcourse i dont. I paid 1 grand for injectors a pulley, and a reflash thats pure bullshit and there is no way to sugar coat it.


Now this would be all 100% ok if all the dealerships backed this product as far as the warranty goes but this is just not the case as many people have discovered.

If I was to buy intake + stage 2 and get 50whp increase I would do it in a second, yet the more I read from other peoples experiences with this product the more I am starting to doubt I will get more than a 30whp increase including intake....

 

Gm will back the warrenty. Cant help you if dealers in your area are stupid. Go to another dealer. Your not married to the place you bought your car from.

I tried to load it, and failed as well. He didn't even take the car up to redline. He also has a header, exhaust, and intake. Something doesn't seem right.

I'll post numbers next week for you guys, as I get my kit tuesday. I have a baseline on a Mustang dyno already to compare it with. My stock number may look low, but my car easily keeps up with SRT-4's.

I've got a question. Would the boost bypass mod help in gaining more hp or did they take the limiter out with the new reflash?

 

It would I assume. I wouldnt keep it plugged for daily driving. Only use it for dyno and track times.
