Ha!

How's it going Doc?
I'll want to know how the stage 2 goes for you.
I'm going to do it too, but now I really wonder if my dealer could even come close to getting it done correctly. And you know why I say that......

Are you two twins??? You both have a big block powered car, quad 442, and SS/SC and then the kicker, you both live in the Northwest. Scary. Doc this is who I thought you were on .com.

Nope, not twins. Just a couple of old car guys.
I still have my Quad 442 though. Although I seldom drive it. The SS/SC has spoiled me.

SOme of the shop workstations might still be Windows 98!!

I'd be really pissed if I went in to get my stage 2 kit installed at my dealer and they did it for me, chargerd me and didn't do the reflash and never told me and made me find out on my own. Thanks for the GREAT info, so it's recommend for me to ask my dealership b4 I bring it in on tuesday fo rmy install and give them the heads up that it can only be done with tiss-2-web, and ensure they have it?

How may people have installed the GM stage 2 kits so far?

I am looking to do the install, but I really do not trust some of these local dealerships to do the job becasue there are not enough SS/SC on the roads for the dealerships to work on. Especially where I am. I will probably drive to Indy where I trust the dealerships more.

For me, I am waiting unil the dealerships have done acouple before I hand my car over. GM should have really given more direction to the dealships which the install of these kits. Cheers.

You really should READ the thread that the dyno chart came from. He even says that it is a dyno with the STAGE 2 kit on the car.

The dealer was having a hard time flashing my car since it was the first one they did so I was kind of concerned that they might not have gotten it right. So the first thing I did was made sure buy running it up to 7000, just to make sure.

Is there any sense in getting stage 2 and a 2.8 pulley or does it make more sense to get stage 1 and 2.8

There is no reason to get the Stage 2 if you are going to be getting your own pulley. The only thing Stage 2 adds is the 77.9 mm pulley and a shorter belt. Just get the stage 1.
