Is there anyone is the Philly area that had the GM kit installed?? If so where did you go, how long did it take, and what was the final cost?? Also another qustion where did you buy the kit from..did you get it from like crateenginedepot.com or from the dealer?

562.50 for the kit and install for 3 hours, we have done many installs here as well as my own car

 

That seems to be the best way to go..............buy the kit separate from one of the vendors doing a group buy or sale on them and then call all the dealers in your area and get a flat fee quote. Take the one with the best install quote. Try to talk to the mechanic who is going to do the install and find one who has done this install before. It will ensure that you have a proper install and won't take the mechanic a long time to do it. If the quote is very low, ask the mechanic what he thinks is fair to him. If he has to hurry up or work for free......you'll have an unhappy mechanic!!! Good luck, hope you have stage 2 soon...You are going to love it!!!!!
