GM Stage 2 kit with 2.8 pulley- how much hp
I'm going to the dragstrip with a friend to race his 2003 Mustang GT. There are no mods done to it. My question is has anyone put on the GM Stage 2 Kit w/ a 2.8 pulley & gotten it dynoed. My SS s/c is purely stock & I'm wondering if anyone got their SS dynoed with just this stuff put on or about how much of an hp gain this would put on or how much hp this would put my SS up to?

No dyno numbers for me before or after but the seat of the pants meter says it is a very very noticeable difference.

Now I have this issue with 3\4 throttle and it surges a bit. The best way to describe it is the car doesn't know if it should cruise or go faster and it goes back and forth. Only at that particular gas pedal position. Put it down to the carpet and it goes really well. It is only minorly annoying but I am looking into different things to rectify it.
I am certainly not sorry I have the 2.8" especially when the gas pedal is down.

WOP said a tune with HPT would solve it. He is right. I looked at the WEGO the instant the surging hit and it had gone from mid 13's to mid 16's and back to mid 13's...real quickly.
The surging \hesitation\ bucking is due to leaning out then richening.
PatathSS also mentioned this as his HPT tune got rid of the chopiness.
