you will be fine with the catback. the header downpipe will net your more power, but your car will still be quick with gm stage 2 and a catback.

yeah man take your time, and put it together when ever you get some extra cash. you dont need an exhaust or intake to run gm stage 2. it helps net you more power, but you don't need it right away.

you could talk them down. tell them you're already giving them business for the stage2 which is probably about 500 or so. tell them you'll pay $300 after taxes. use the. well its been sitting there for three years. i can take it off your hands, but not for 350....

This is my last post in this thread because people KNOW that no dyno readings will be the same. But yet are still trying to tell me that the OP will make higher numbers.

I been on the dyno he will be going to (when and if he goes)....unless he travels 2-4hrs in the other direction to use the other dyno that is the 2nd nearest to him. I seen many cobalts dynoed on thay dyno. 40+ pulls of mine, 1 SS/TC (hit 232whp), 1 SS/NA and a few SS/SC stock or with GM S2. They all read LOWER than what they should have. Look at the SS/TC ...rated at 260hp. He only hit 232who and he was pissed. Only car i seen on that number which was my mechanics cavilier that made 550whp with a big ass turbo.

So yea, maybe the Cobalt SS/SC does make more power then rated, but not here. I have never seen a dyno in canada give a number that hit or went above the rated power the car makes. All im trying to do is try to give Dezzie a heads up so when he hits the dyno and is excepting 250whp...and doesnt hit it, he wont be pissed....trust me, i been there.

With the Intake...you might see 220-225...dont get much gains out of a intake on the Cobalts. I got a nice kick in the ass with the dual intakes on my car.

if you had pieced your own kit together it would have been cheaper and you would have gotten more out of it

First I'm not completely disagreeing with you .........
People car argue dyno numbers till there blue in the face ......to many variations to count . The only thing that seems to be a constant is that the LSJ is underated at 205BHP . I haven't seen many that dyno 175 whp or even 180 stock over the last 3 plus years here .
