By the way, i'm not sure if the 2.6" pulley is correct, that was more of a guess since we were told the size in mm at the time. I don't know the exact size for the pulley, but i do know for sure that each stage kit is made to produce about 2 psi more with the smaller pulleys.

So, in turn, the stage two should produce about 14.5 psi (max average) and the stage 3 with the smaller pulley should produce about 16.5 psi (max average, based on the fact that most cars run stock about 12.5 psi max).

While i was in the stage 3 car i didn't really watch the boost gauge though, i kinda got distracted with the nitrous. I actaully drove it a little and it definitely felt stronger than stage 2 without using nitrous, it was just a shame whenever i would try a hard 1st-2nd shift that the shifter knob would pop off . Damn the guy who jury rigged it .

Oh yeah, i don't know if Zenkat mentioned this but he was running stock everything even the airbox, only change was a missing catalytic converter.

cause i wouldn't just push the button, i would hold it down until my motor melted the engine mounts and fell through the blacktop

The 300hp LSJ build uses a 2.8" pulley. I would hate to see what would happen with the 2.6 and the 8,000 rpm rev limiter. (actually I am morbidly curious, so long as it wasn't my car )

I'm still not sure about all this...If infact a smaller pully is involved that means either a new tensionor or even smaller belt again...which doesnt really make it a weekend put in/pull out...Trust me, it would be great to see a GM Stage 3 kit but I dont believe its going to include nitrous, If GM warrentys their stage kits I highly doubt they would start marketing a kit that is going to run that close to the limits...If so they are gonna be paying out the ass for every break down imaginable due to people not knowing what they are doing. Just my thoughts on the whole deal. Im not saying there wont be a GM Stage 3 kit but I highly doubt it will involve nitrous once it gets here...

The kit wont come with a nitrous setup. The S3 box is just programmed to handle it if you wanted to install it. But i just dont know the details on whats involved in that, just that it can.

Dude, WRONG. It wasn't Ford's Saleen N2O Focus. It was all Saleen. It did come with a bottle, But there was just a few pieces of wiring left out. IF YOU WIRED IT IN, Then it voided your warantee. That and it was a stupid idea from the start. Body kit+Nitrous+Steve Saleen's name=Saleen Rice!

Edit: Not trying to be an ass, Just kinda am one.

THATS GREAT!

the nice thing about this box is the fact that when i run my NOS...and i will i can activate this box and it'll scale the the fuel to make up for the N2o....good ****!

I meant rpms, my bad. it would pump out more power at a given rpm opposed to the roots type

Also, i forgot to mention that the smaller drive belt that comes with the stage 2 is also used for the stage 3 pulley, so it can't be that dramatic of a size change cause there are no slipping problems.

Really? Where did those numbers come from? That sounds awsome. So the people with stage2 can keep the same belt. Sweet.
