Right, but the effect is turning to core into a dual pass via the end plate replacement. I should've been clearer!

I've been behind the GM kits all along, but unless the numbers on this one are mis-stated, I cant see paying the money for it, over something like HP Tuners...

Hell, my 60lb injectors are at 69%-71% duty cycle as it is...

Why does our car keep running into fuel issues? It seems like we can't keep enough fuel in the combustion chamber. But back on topic. I want just the new plate, screw the rest of the kit.

well if the bottle was on it the car would be over 300 hp from what I understand so it has more ability or rather the bottle has more ability.

Yeah, but the bottle is illegal in my races and useless on an autox track, so that's all for naught to me... anyone can toss N2O on a car, and do it for alot less than $1,000. If you're using nitrous, all the other stuff is pointless. Retard timing, hit spray. Adjust betweeen 30hp and 500hp...

Just my opinion anyway...

If this is like 10hp then I should just put on Gm's honed performance header for 7hp and keep my warranty for only$ 260.lol...

Yeah they said their off road kit with nitrous and no emissions is fully covered and you will never have to pay for a repair ever again.

Not sure how you can turn off emissions without removing the CAT which is the biggest power drain on the car. I can also turn of the AC on my car already with the switch on the dash that looks like a snow flake

I love the speculation threads.

Just save your money and make 260+ for less than $700 with a home made stage kit.

this makes no sense..... uping the boost, cooling the air down more, and making the redline alot higher. 247 cannot be right, that is terrible....

Yeah, it seems real odd if it's the actual GM kit... the lack of injectors is kinda scary...

Its cool how it works though. u hit the cruise button and a few others and it activates the Control box.
I was there also and spoke with the gm technician. The silver SS that dynoed was stage 3 equipped, but those dyno runs were not with the nitrous. THe stage 3 should put it around 300+whp from what the technicain said. The kit comes with a 76 mm pulley, unique pcm, 2 pass intercooler, the pcm has an adjustable revlimit up to 8000 rpm, an octane switch spark curve for 100 octane racing fuel and a nitrous switch into the pcm to run a 55 shot. This is all activated by the cruise control button which by pressing puts your cobalt intoo 100 octane mode. The shift light on the dash notifies you of this. It changes from a 6500rpm level to the 8000rpm. They had a 3" exhaust on it that sounded pretty good! Got a Free NOPI cobalt SS shirt from GM too!

His car was this ****! I talked to him too cause I thought he was twin charged, but no. He has 475 whp with direct port nitrous...some crazy ****.

They also has a 320whp turbo Solistice hard top that was kick ass, and the 900whp turbo 2.2 cobalt street drag car.

That's just nuts... my 42.5# injectors were at 110% duty cycle... my 60# injectors are at 70% without the 2.6" pulley or the exhaust...

I assume it's a wet shot tapped off the schrader valve?
