anyone running this setup or a dry shot no less with water injection?
pros or cons?
newb to the nitrous, gettin my kit saturday, im just wondering how it will react with my water. The GMPP pcm obviously will conrol the tune for the nitrous. Any help would be great.

I beleive you can use the high octane mod for running the meth, however someone a while back tryed to contol the meth with the nitrous feature and it didnt work! try it and let us know.

 

i dont plan to run meth, just water.
my concern is will sprayin both at the same time have any negative affects.

 

if you're going for water injection. just spray meth. you're going to lose power.

i already spray water.

so when i do get my nitrous kit, i just want to make sure eveything works as it should or will the water mess up anything as per when im spraying the nitrous?

 

water by itself does not add power. it has zero octane properties and will only show you what the car is capable of on a killer tune on pump gas.

now. if you throw meth into the mix. blamo! moer power. think of it as running race gas

 

meth plus nitrous and the GMPP stage 3 PCM will work?
how is this possible?
i read a post somewhere the GMPP pcm did not accept meth too well.
and i havnt heard of anyone running nitorus and meth on the stage3 nitrous tune.

as i said, if i can spray both water and nitrous (Dry) without issues, im happy.
the water isnt there too make more power, it was put there to keep things a lil cooler when i was running a 2.7 pulley.

also, the added octane from the meth will add as a deterent for detonation when spraying- something to really watch out for...so technically, the meth isnt just for added power, for extra cushion as well.

try using a 30/70 mix...better than pure water imo

 

Yep even a 25/75 meth/water mix wont richen the a/f up to much and will definatly bump the octane rating a easy 5+ full points, allowing you to run more timing

hey mike did you go back to your 42 lbs injectors to run your stage three ecm.I have dynotune dry 50 shot ready to install and i too was thinking of getting a meth kit to add as it increases the octane and controls the burn across the piston.Plus the 42s will pretty much be maxxed out and the extra security of meth to richen everything up will be a safety measure.
