Any Canadians on here been quoted prices on stage 1 and 2. I got quoted $1264 canadian for the stage 2 at my dealer in North Vancouver. That is a rip off even with the exchange rate.

Got quoted 1000$ and he said it was a deal cause the real price is 1264$. Still bying it from the U.S even with exchange and all would still be a better deal.

what else

If you buy the stage one kit and you wanted to go with a 2.8 inch pulley besides the pulley what else do you need besides a smaller belt. maybe a tensioner or something. and how do you know what size belt to get.

Well for the 2.8" pulley i'm sure the belt that comes with Stage 2 would be fine without buying a tensioner. but if you don't have the smaller belt then the tensioner is needed

That's total B.S.! All you should be paying for is the labor. I only paid $150 for the total install of my stage 2, reflash included.

Them having to pay $100 for the program and then passing the cost onto you is B.S.! No, dealer needs to pay for the STG1 or 2 program from GM, you already paid for it with the kit. But, they can charge what they want for install and programming. If there cost is too high for you, try to find another dealer! I cannot believe some of the S*&T Dealerships are pulling about these kits. If my shop can charge $635 for STG2 and 2hrs labor for install, I don't see why some people are quoted 3.5 hrs or more for labor and over $750 for parts or some dealers saying your warranty is Void, if the kit is installed, IT IS NOT!!
Sorry, this kind of crap, just pisses me off!!

same deal

I ordered my stage 2 0n 4/12 and my dealer can give me no sort of an estimated time frame as to when I could my kit come in. I just don't see what could take so long to get these little kits together...

Mine was 3 weeks ago today and I told the GM parts guy to cancel it. They have my money, but I don't have my part. I'll go buy something else with the money now.

i wish i could just take the money back but it was financed in with the car so i dont feel like going through the hassle of trying to get cash back. but at least i only paid $570 for it ha. id be kind mad if i had to pay $800 or more for parts and install and still didnt have it

Has anyone had a problem getting the reflash done? My dealer is saying that GM hasn't gotten back to them with the update. It has been since Monday. Does anyone know what exactly is suppost to happen, so maybe I can let them know what to do. THey have never done a stage reflash yet. Not common around here.

You shouldnt have a problem. You should look into getting the belt that comes with stage 2 thought. Alot of people are doing it.

No. My dealership was new to this installation. The manager had to call services and find out what my VIC number was that corresponded to the number that came in the instruction booklet in the kit and voila, TUNED.
