Hey everybody, I was wondering what all is needed when you install the stage 2 kit by gmc? also is this the best kit to do? I know a friend of mine put on the stage 2 kit and ran into problems such as dip stick popping out b/c of excess crank case pressure and also had a minor oil leak. I DO NOT wantt that to happen to mine though! Any help/advice would be much appreciated! Oh and Merry Christmas!!

gm sends you a weak flash. find someone with hptuners for a good tune

 

the tune isent weak by no means it is still set into the safe zone to boot

Its a nice improvement with out going crazy pushing limits.

 

^ a custom tune is not pushing the limit unless the tune was design to push the limits, gm tune is super rich and getting a custom tune to lean it out a bit is still great idea and will be better then running into the 9s on the afr gauge.

 

If you have a lot of questions, and are new to this car, a GMS2 is a great place to start. you can always build off of it at a later point in time.
