GMPP all the way

I was thinking of going GMPP all the way with the car. I was looking into the aftermarket but with my past experiences with them left me wondering should I go aftermarket or GMPP. I know GMPP has better enginenered parts for the balt and thought it would be a better way to approach a project. Any suddgestions would be appriated thx .

Can't go wrong with GMPP... the parts are all quality stuff. Sure, other options may be cheaper... but I like knowing that if my motor decides to randomly take a **** some day... it'll be covered.

I'm not sure what suggestions you're looking for. GM Parts are going to be more expensive I would think.

I think they are reasonably priced considering that they are made for the car instead of built for it.

What I was thinking is get everything gmpp from cams to rods, pistons, valve train ect. The main reason is I want to know what those parts have to offer and prove some people wrong about gmpp.

I may be wrong, but your warranty may only stay intact with a couple of the ones that you mentioned. Stage 1&2, Exhaust manifold and cat back I know for sure are warrantied. I'm not sure if cams, pistons, etc keep it. I know stage 3 does not.

(just realized, after I typed this, that you might not care about warranty....)

the cams and piston parts have a defect warranty but whether your car with motor mods will be covered is iffey

on a side note, ive never had a problem with warranty
the only parts that are not GM is my intake and pulley(that looks identical to stage 2) and suspension of course

i have the DUal Pass option B and am fabbing brackets for the GM bottle currently
but i dont see this PCM in my future

after all with option B my car will be GM stage 3 --sans Pcm

but eventually i plan on Hp tuners...maybe 60s

and i dont see 2.8 with 42.5 injectors as a crisis

is the gmpp cat back exhaust on crateenginedepot for the SS/SC? Or is it for the regular cobalt only? Just wondering cuz it seems kinda cheap: $350?

You are correct it won't hold the warranty but in two years it won't matter. So for now I will get everything gmpp that still holds the warranty.

From what I understand it is for all cobalts.

My ultimate goal is to build my car mechanicaly wise gmpp as much as possible with as little aftermarket support to show people that gm knows their stuff about performance parts. Well as you can tell I am bowtie boy all the way as the tradition runs in the family .

The GMPP exhaust will fit any Cobalt. $350 is a steal for sure. Don't forget to get a tip though.
