ok, the stock tip is welded on so probably not. I have the exhaust (performance version)and it sounds great and loud without being overly done. The tip it came with looks great and has a bowtie on it incase some cops start asking questions. The exhaust is a catback, 2.5 in (Not 100% sure). hope that helps

The touring has a lower decibel rating than the sport. Meaning the sport exhaust is a little louder. That's all.

Go with the sport exhaust. Here is a clip of the sport exhaust.

The touring sounds a C-hair louder than stock. The sport sounds the best!

That Exhaust sounds great. Is the exhaust made of Stainless Steel or just normal aluminium piping?

I dont actually know. Thats not good since I bought it. haha. All I know is that Borla helped GM make it and it is warrantied.

I think its right about perfect. Loud on WOT but quiets down to comfortable levels when cruising. It is a little loud at idle but not to bad. It has a little pop and gargle (sp?) when shifting and decelerating.

What is the diameter of the exhaust? (Sport). Is the OEM one 2.25 or 2.5"?

I saw a thread somewhere where they said the GMPP exhaust was actually narrower tubing than the stock!!!

the stock exhaust tip will fit, just has to be cut off and welded onto the gmpp exhaust. IMO the stock tip looks better than the gmpp one and wont come loose like on the SS's i have seen
