Does anyone know or have a picture of the diagram on tightening the bolts on the manifold? I know theres a certain order you have tighten them and how much you tighten them.

I don't know the "correct" pattern or torque specs, but I've always tightened headers/manifolds from the inside out snug at first. Then after they are snugged I go over again and torque them a little. I'm not talking 2 hand he-man tightening either After I take it out for a day or so I re-tighten them again as they have a habit of coming loose after the initial break in (mostly headers though).

it's not from the inside out. they have an unusual pattern, i was reading it in a book the other day, can't remember what it was exactly. but it's definitely not from the inside out.

There is a diagram on here somewhere. I just don't know where it is. I can't remember where I seen it.

I can tell you right from the gm manual. #1 bolt over left middle tube. #2 bolt over right middle tube. #3 bottom between middle tubes. #4 bottom next to left middle tube.#5 bottom next to right middle tube. #6 over left outside tube. #7 bottom next to left outside tube. #8 top next to left outside tube. #9 top over right outside tube. #10 bottom next to right outside tube. Torque is 124 in lbs. Tubes as viewed from back of car.

I just tighten them any damn well way i feel like. I've swapped manifolds like 3 times now, and haven't had problems. I just put them on as tight as I felt they needed to be

Sounds kinda like the inside out to me Anyway, it's not like it's a head or anything. Like someone else stated you can pretty much go anyway you please.
