To Go 2.6" Pulley Or Not?
im going to a 2.6" from a 2.7" ...just gotta find me a pulley
but to help the op a bit more and my self
do you have to shave the snout if you slap a 2.6 " on there, for a GM 4 Bolt Hub, when i put the the 2.7 " on there it seemed like there's more space on there...ny ideas ? oh sorry to thread jack btw !

I ran 2.6 and 2.5 on my m62 for a couple of years with no problems except, I went through 3 blowers. Not sure if they went because of over spinning or because I was spraying meth through it, or maybe a combination of both. But each blower would last about 30,000 miles. So u decide if it's worth it, to me I didn't mind buying blowers every 30,000 miles because I loved the low end torque. I got a tvs now on a 2.7 but I feel that the low end torque on the m62 was better

I just finally installed my 2.6" last Friday and I love it! Wow it pulls way harder. But I also had full exhaust and a CAI that I put on and wasn't tuned for yet. I bought an oversized tensioner from ZZP but it fits like crap. It hits the tensioner itself it's so big. So I tried it with the stocker and no slip. 19 psi

You have to grind the oversize tensioner pulley to fit but if it's not slipping then don't worry. I ran a 2.6 with no other mods than 60's for over a year no problem.

Is that the ZZP tool? Also, did you run an adj tensioner or oversized or none at all?
