approximately 15" x 10" x 4", you can find it around, its flowmaster 80 series crossflow muffler, i wouldn't recommend it though, due to the increased resonation of our 4 cylinder sounds, its better for 8 cyclinder applications (sounds great on my friends WS6). I may replace it eventually and go with Y piping or a smaller crossover due to the sound it makes.

They rear mufflers are APC universal 2.25" straight through slant tip p/n 156005, autoaccessory4u.com had them for 24.95 a piece and it was $70 total for both of them shipped.

I don't have a cat either and i'm trying to fine tune the overbearing sound of the 4 cylinder beast. I have 5 mufflers and resonators in total and it still is pretty loud, but quiet enough to hear the crazy S/C whine.

if 3 inch kills torque. how do you explain me putting down well over 250 ft lbs? with nothing major done to my car.

3 inch dp, 3 inch cat back. so if 3 inch exhaust kills torque. explain to me why, i have put down more than 90% of the people with a 2.8 in the terms of torque?

oh, i got it. i compensated for it by tweeking the car.

BTW apc went out of business a long time ago.

Anyone wondering about the crossflow , the 80 series is a 82-2002 Camaro/firebird specific muffler .

Look forward to the soundclips . It should be a pretty good flowing exhaust with a good tone thats actually on the quiet side . I dont care about the noise on my F-bodies , but I have no tolerence at all for a loud 4 banger ....just my preference .

I was just wondering how exactly do u come up with this... is there a formula? I assume so.

Anyways since someone brought this thread back from the dead... what happened to the sound clips!

you calculate the area of the pipe. area of a circle is Pi x R squared

well, since its brought back i can put up my original sound clip. Sorry for those who require better sound, i never got a better camera because i didn't like the sound very much myself. I believe a slightly smaller muffler may be needed or a muffler that just doesn't resonate like a bumble bee (not a big fan of flowmaster right now, at least for the 4 banger). I have plans for a repacement y pipe and equal length exit pipes when i bring out the car from hybernation.

The camera is pretty bad in terms of sound quality. The dual exhaust doesn't sound bad at all though. I didn't hear any rattle or rasp. Not to mention it looks badass
