smaller piping may have been a better route for fitment and clearance and those who would like quieter exhausts, i started out with a 3" Custom Tubes Inc. exhaust so i kinda just went with the 3" all the way back and the 3" to 2 2.5" is the smallest 3" crossflow i could find.

As for how low it is, its not even lower than the rear torsion beam in the rear, although the second resonator is kinda cutting it close before the rear axle, but thats my best cut and paste job with CTI's bends so theres no much else i can do. (i've welded, cut and rewelded about 3 times already to get it not to touch and have enough clearance)

Thanks for all the criticisms and complements, i enjoy knowing everyones thoughts.

ps. i have the 3in magnaflow resonator as the first resonator, love it. Definitely keeping them in mind for the future.

WOW, SRSLY that sounds horrible under throttle! Idle didn't sound too bad! Try just putting tips at the end instead of using 3 mufflers to do the split... magnaflow sound so much better on these cars!

A chambered muffler is never a good idea on the 4 banger unless loud is what your looking for ....a turbo car can get away with it , but not a NA or Supercharged .

Look into Borla turbo XL oval mufflers . They produce alot deeper tone without rasp and resonance also without being exessively loud . This the muffler I made my exhaust with . I wish Corsa sold their mufflers singlely instead of just in kit form .

Looks good, but the sound im unsure of, the camera seems to crap out during the vid. Probably sounds good in person.

Your idle sounds great, but it's obvious that the camera is distorting the sound when you rev it.

Try taking a shot from a 'lil farther away.

Nice job though!

bringing back from the dead. sorry.

but the reason this fails on every level but looks is because you have a single input dual output muffler. but the way you have everything assembled...its flowing against the way the muffler was designed. you have the input for the flow of the exhaust going in one of the outputs. and the output of the right side is actually the main input for the muffler. so you're really only using 1of3 inlets/outlets correctly

Not always true....

I dont know anything about this muffler, but i do know they make mufflers that are made to be set up like that

yup. you're right. its an 80 series from flowmaster. i just assumed it was a regular 1inlet dual outlet that you just mounted sideways
