The tuner that the shop uses is supposed to be real good with cobalts,so we will see what happens next time.

heat soak likely killed your numbers after multiple passes

What the hell are you talking about???? He was on a Dyno Jet and was getting lower numbers than the mustang dyno. So where do you pull this magic 255whp from??

The low number is from the tune. I consistently see 260 whp out of SS/SC and IRL's with similiar mods and stock exhaust. Woops! missed you dont have Meth Inj. Your probably making a ton of heat and pulling alot of timing.

well unless he changed his text initally he stated it was a mustang dyno somewhere in the thread. I re-read it but I didn't see it anymore.. either way.. the numbers are right on par with what should be running. don't get your panties in a bunch negative nancy.

that will do it the fan not only keeps the car cool but some what mimicks driving your heat exchanger has no air flowing through it to cool. its like reving your car in traffic yea its gonna get hot

Don't blame it on a fan or anything. You have just been taught a dyno lesson..

Every dyno reads different as you saw today, but from what you say your last pull seems pretty realistic.

on an ss/sc the 3/4th gear dyno aren't going to be that far off.. HOWEVER on a 2.2/2.4 a 3rd gear dyno is the better one to do .. as 3rd gear is like 1.08 ratio as opposed to 4th which is like .83 or so

never the less your car was definitely heat soaked .. get some more cooling mods and you'll be better off
