got a new downpipe

got a new downpipe

so i got my new downpipe on today and took it for a drive. it feals good not leaks and all. but the supercharger dont seem no where as loud as it was. i have intake and stage 2 with 2.79 pulley and it used to be loud as hell not its not all that loud??? what would make this happen???

"if" you dont hear as much whine its because your car is not making as much boost, which is a good thing with the mod you did. also, it could just seem quieter because of the new loudness of your exhaust. just curious, what DP did you get?

i got the one from cobalt addiction it is very nice. got the one with high flow cat at 2.5 in size. i think it is making almost as much boost but not as much noise. but that would be great what you said its doing its job. its just downpipe still stock exhaust the rest of the way back. thanks for your hlep

more droning from the exhaust... maybe less boost.

if you got that one i bet you its leaking on the flange, watch it for a week or so and i guarentee you it is leaking on the bottom side of the flange between the DP and the catback

so at the bottom where is flexs you say it goign to leak or whre it meets the resanator??
