got tuned friday!
thats it. im going to go find a mustang dyno and pull an alpha number.
numbers are numbers, but to boldly believe them to be true when in 4 years, no one without nitrous has done these numbers on a 2.8. you don't have cams. you're not spinning the motor to 8k. you don't have 10.0:1 pistons. you don't have head work.
so you tell me how i should even come close to believing the numbers?

I could care less about the numbers, cause he'll never put down the track times a true 300whp balt would. He will be disappointed day in and day out. ****, I'd love to see the look on his face when a car like mine that dyno'd 244whp wipes him up and down the freeway.
My problem is that this kid is getting way too defensive and aggressive when he clearly doesn't know **** about what this guy did to his car.
First:
Your coolant temp in your DIC has nothing to do w/ cooling mods. Your IAT is cooled by a separate plumbing system.
Second:
The obvious confusion of part names and function just made my day.
And Third:
Telling people w/ realistic #'s that their tune sucks, just askin' for punishment.
I'm on a 2.8" pulley and I put down 244, does my tune suck?

I'm not hating here, just to be clear, I do however want to know how your tuner did away with the bypass and the boost controller box. I have routed around the boost controller box with my twinscrew so I understang that, but I definitely had a bypass still working.
On another note, my car right now is at 238whp and 230wtrq on the stock blower on a really low rating Mustang Dyno I go to with full bolt ons and a 2.6" pulley. The guy who taught me how to tune and myself tuning the car have netted an impressively quick car even know my car only dynos 238whp. I'd love nothing more than to run you with my mods to see who would pull who. If I wasn't overseas, I'd drive down to Georgia from South Carolina to throw my car on that dyno to see the difference as well. I truely think you have the complete opposite dyno from the one I go to. Mine reads low and yours reads really high. I'd bet money that my car would pull yours though with the mods I have.
On the cooling mods issue, we are not talking about your coolant temps you can see inside the car. We are talking about your IAT1 and IAT2 temps i.e. before the blower and after the blower. Without coolant mods and a 2.8" puley your car would heatsoak after two to three pulls making your power go down big time. Hence the cooling mods, as I have been there myself. I also tuned a friends car with 60's and a 2.8" pulley without coolant mods and his IAT2 were just insane after a few pulls. He also ended up with only 214whp on the same dyno I went to which was identical to my numbers when I had the same setup he did. Once again, I'm not being an ass, I'm just trying to explain that my dyno numbers are low and yours are high. The only way to tell the difference is a comparison of before and after.
You still didn't answer the big question though...
DO YOU HAVE A STOCK DYNO TO COMPARE TO OR ONE BEFORE YOUR LATEST MODS/TUNE INSTALLED?
Damn it Edubs, you beat me to the coolant thing before I was finished typing my speach!

Considering my GTO put down 330rwhp and it pulls like a rabid ape I doubt your cobalt put down 300, I would honestly vouch for 240-255whp on your behalf, because your car probably pulls like a tampon ripcord compared to a 300fwhp 'balt.
How many axles have you annihilated? What are your IAT2 temps? How much topend timing advance are you pushing? Serious questions.
And if you believe that you really are putting down 300whp, then do some preventative maintenance and have your axles upgraded before you cause massive damage to your car and potential injure/kill someone.

ohhhhhhhhhhh thats so the crabs can bungee jump. got ya.
guess i can't run 13.5 afr and 20 degree's of timing and zero knock. {by accident, don't take that seriously. although i did beat a modded vw, and an sti. lawl}

i guess i'm with area on this...guess my numbers arnt any good.
i took me a snazzy turbo to make 380+
i mean i only made 302 on my blower and theres no chance in hell i was gonna DD that tune!
on a serious note here, the shop has an inflated dyno to make there customers happy, any and all shops that place there "life" on the line with tuning(a shop that only does tuneing, ect) will do the same thing.
people leave happy and they feel like there money was well spent.
how ever when they go out and get ass raped like my old 2.5 car would have done to this poor guy its not a happy time any more!

tampons have ripcords?

I have beat a modded STI, rapped a stock EVO really bad, and put a hurting on a lot of other cars as well. Now my buddy with his 297awhp WRX on the same dyno I go to, I can barley keep up with him on my latest tune with the methanol spraying right and I'm at 21* of timing with my 2.6". I still have more tuning to do, but I think that says something about how quick my car is.
Your crazy my friend! I don't even know how 13.5's are possible without boom even with meth, but hey your car is still running, so it couldn't be that bad!

If I take my time shifting or miss time it, he'll beat me. If I nail down everything perfect I can keep my nose in front of him so he can't pull me.

it was purely accident, but the car is still alive, and running good like usual

there is a hidden issue with the car that fixed to correct the problem. we're good now
