once it's proven. i just don't get it. if the tuner seriously thinks he can get 330whp with a 2.8 and no juice he is sooooooo blazed right now.

No offense, but I think the dyno is a bit generous. It's like the opposite of the one I go to. I only laid down 238whp and 230wtrq on the Mustang Dyno I go to, which would be like 270ish whp and 260ish wtrq on the average Dynojet. I have a 2.6" pulley and all the bolt-ons except for internal engine work.

Do you have a stock dyno that we can see as a comparison? I'm pretty sure that if your stock dyno was around 205whp and you cranked out 302whp I would be impressed. If your car laid down like 230-240whp stock, then we could conclude your dyno runs high.

Hey don't sweat the people here. I got a similar response on camaroz28.com, back in the day when I hit 415rwhp in my 96Z with fully ported stock LT1 heads. A lot of fully bolt-on ls1 owners, 03-04 stock z06 owners called bs, until I blew their doors off

Good number's

Wow, alot of haters here. Just ask for the dyno sheet nicely, which some of you have. Wait till he goes back on Wed. and reposts his information. Dont be a bunch of ass hats although most of you are real good at it. You dont believe him fine, dont, but dont compare what you guys run on your dynos to his. High or not it is just a tuning #. If he gets his stuff straightend out and runs a higher number on Wed. then they made an improvement. Big deal. Get over it!!!! Give the guy props and ask questions.

It has nothing to do with his numbers vs. ours! It's the fact that it cannot happen period. There is a dyno thread you might want to check that out... Most of the top guys on there are the BEST OF THE BEST when it comes to tuning. And there aren't any blower cars over 300 hp without spray!

So with that being said... 06black, 06blackg85ss, Area47 must have all been doing something wrong then, right? I think not

He's trying to say that with a 2.8" pulley, he's competing with the base tune TURBO cars! Sorry very unlikely!

On another note... Area47 has a dyno graph of a 2.80" pulley car, with methanol, and his crazy ass tune and it 273, and he couldn't even run it every day because it was FAR to aggressive for every day drivng...

The SAE should have a standard for dyno operators with mandatory quarterly calibrations . These numbers are only good if you go back to the same place to test changes to your car .

there are SAE standers for certified dyno numbers, however no dyno operator is required to abide by those rules, unless they wish the numbers to have a certified SAE status.

go to a real dyno shop, not a place that inflates numbers to bring in customers. If your running 300WHP, you should also be running very low 13's @ 110-1120MPH, which i know for a fact your not.
