No news just yet...I've been on a West Coast promo and development tour, and we will get back to the GT35R Cobalt upon my return at the end of the month.

20G turbosystem development is slated for February as well.

id be interested to see what the 20G on portfueler puts down and for how much $$$

since the twinscrew kit seems to be a massive failure this is looking like the only route to go

I don't think they will have pricing out until they actually release the kit...but from the looks of it...it looks like it will be the most expensive kit (well including the new intake manifold) because I wouldn't get it without that.

It may be the most exspensive kit out there but looks to be the highest quality from what I have seen and heard so far.

Which is why I most likely will be going with this kit...But I wanna see results of this "super 20 g" turbo...I never heard of it...seen it on some dsm's but does it make power? They are saying it does but idk......i don't wanna be running 25+ psi in order to get close to the 400whp mark...I wanna be at the 18-22 range and making very high 300's

If not, i'm buying the 2.2 garret kit, swapping out for the gt3076 turbo instead of the disco they give you, buying the gm 2.2 race intake manifold, some little customization/fabrication of the piping to the new manifold...and BAM...i'll have a nice kit at a decent price (i'd expect ~4500 WITH the intake manifol dfrom gm)

super 20g is good to @500hp on race gas man, 18-20 psi should put you in the 350whp range with that turbo. more with cams and or head work

^^^ I would say 400-450 would be highest potential without head or cam work.

On a side note. 06black85ss nice vid of the new turbo set-up. sounds great and seems to pull like a ****!

That would be perfect...I'd buy the new intake manifold iwth the 8 fuel injectors....and then eventually i'd get new forged pistons....

By the way, I can't wait to see your car on the dyno! That thing is going to be an animal!

I talked to Ray Bates and he said you don't have to touch the heads port wise on the lsj's until you are up over the 800 hp mark. Highly recommended changing the valves if your gonna run high boost.

The portfueler/streetrace intake mani combo use the stock throttle body.

Exactly what I learned rightafter I ported the head. But you would need springs, valves, retainers, just all the basics. might as well throw some cams in there while its all apart!

I would recommend doing it all at once. DO the pistons, headstuds, headgasket all at once. Dont just wait until something fails, cause then other **** happens and you end up paying so much more than just waiting and doing it all at once. That was my mistake, believe me!

And I cant wait either. I will be going up there Sunday with 1-2 buddies to wrench on the car and with my fingers crossed possibly gettin it on the dyno!

i have the 2.2 and on hahns site it has the intake mani for us and looks the same, but as our throttle body is underneath and not on the side, wouldnt work for us.. thats why i asked it they included a new one..

if not it aint a big deal, i am sure it wouldnt be hard to find one that would fit well..
i just cant get over how nice it looks sitting in the car.. i am excited to see the finished work..

Thanks man, I can't wait to get my mani and port fueler setup, plus the new pump and return line setup I have going in over the next week or 2. I think with the new motor going in with cams I should see @450whp on pump gas @24 psi or so.

Yeah but if you bought this new manifold...it would replace the stock one therefore the tb wouldn't be underneath anymore
