I can assure you the statement of stainless holding heat better than A CERAMIC COATING is false.

Okay. so what happeneds when you put rubber over a hot pipe? It insulates it. You dont feel the heat on the rubber. Same concept. The metal without any insulator is going to expunge its heat. With the ceramic coating, it insulates it...

THATS plain physics.

Go tell nasa that they are wrong in using a ceramic type plating to make sure their shuttle doesnt just disintegrate during re-entry and everybody doesnt melt on the inside.. they should be using stainless steel instead.

stainless has a different composite... hence why it is more expensive... and when using 304 medical grade... it has an element added which is far superior that a ceramic coating...

theres stainless and theres medical grade... depending on the application and the needs they are altered... hence why they make a cobalt, the a g5 then a redline... different applications

Stainless is better with heat than Mild. But they do ceramic coating for a reason. hence why NASA uses it for the space shuttle.

u sir = wrong. ALL steels, including T304, conduct heat ridiculously well. This means heat will be able to dissipate to the outside, leaving the exhaust stream. Ceramic coating does NOT conduct heat very well, so it insulates the T304.

go retake chemistry

all you have to do is post the reasoning behind your "physics" that makes your sentence true...
however, i already posted the chemistry behind why what shortstack and I are saying, and you would have to prove that false (which you cant do because it is fact) before you could say you are correct and we are the ones who are misinformed.

so, either prove us wrong, or admit defeat by pulling the typical "you guys are stupid, you're wrong, but im not gonna explain why" that 12 year olds love so much

Ceramic coating kicks ass. It's durable and holds the heat in.

Sorry for the bumpage...but what do you mean by "medical grade"? Surgical instruments like scalpels typically use 440C steel, not T304.

he didnt know what he was talking about. T304 is used in the food insudtry, and possibly for hospital appliances
