Has anyone used the gm perf exhaust

Has anyone used the gm performance exhaust and if so does it sound pretty nice because im really thinking of going to 3 inch piping and an aftermarket muffler, what do you guys think?

Also has anyone used the gm extrude honed exhaust manifold if so how much of a difference in sound and performance did it have?

Thanks guys!

Any LSJ that is more than 40% stock will never need a 3" exhaust.

3 inch exhaust is no good for our application. We benefit with a smaller exhaust.

is that really true? i can't understand why GM would make a smaller 2.25 exhaust than stock 2.5.

I also read somewhere on here that Stage 3 will be header/exhaust.

Well no one knows details. There could be more, hell maybe another reflash. Or maybe absolutely nothing. I personally think its just a rumor that everyone wants to believe in. Although I do think GM might do a stage 3 eventually.
