Have GM Stage 1+2 kit; need PCM update; Where/How?

So I got the GM Stage 1 and 2 kits as a gift from my dad. He didn't know that I need a PCM update for the kits to work, and he thought I could just install it myself, which I think I could.

My only issue is the PCM update. I am completely lost as to how I can get this done. I am trying to avoid brining the kit and the car into a dealer, because I am assuming it would cost a lot for the install.

So, what can I do?

Would any shop be able to update the PCM? What would I ask them to make sure that they can do it? Do I need a shop with specifically an HP Tuner, or are there other methods?

Could I talk to OTTP and see if I could just buy the PCM update that is part of their kit??

I'm really lost, so any help would be really appreciated.

I can answer one of your questions. Send in your pcm to OTTP to get it tune by them.
Tell them exactly what parts you got on the car. Intake, exhaust etc. You should be happy with that company I know I am.. Other people chime in for this guy...

I sent OTTP an e-mail asking about the logistics of doing that.

I also realized that I'll be at the Jersey shore this weekend, not that far from TuneTime in Toms River, and I was wondering if I install the components, can I drive it 35 miles to have it tuned? Will the car even work without the ECM update?

Ok if your dad got you the kit from GM it should have in the paper work the VCI number. Install the kit, go to the stealership , give them the vci number and they will flast it for roughly $80.00

Yup, I've got that.

So I can drive it without the re-flash?

what parts are included. 42lbs and what size pulley? I know when i installed the 60lb injectors, we wanted to see what the car would do before changing any of the tune....car would start but flood itself and die within 30secs. Not sure if the same thing would happen if u install smaller injectors....it might run

I drove my car for 580 miles on the 42.5lbs and didnt have an issue, however i did plug the cat later in life. So i would say don't drive it far with the injectors and a stock ecu setup.

The kit came with 42# injectors and a 3" pulley.
