Okay, put the new Vibrant header and downpipe on today. I have a GMPP cat back, w/ a resonator.

1) HOLY ******* **** IS THIS THING A PAIN IN THE ASS TO DO BY YOURSELF!!!!

2) After 2 1/2 hours of me getting madder and madder and madder at trying to solo this project I called in 2 buddies.

3) Don't try this with out chalks (think that is wrong) or a lift.

4) It sound beautiful. A little ricer when I am in the lower RMP band, but when it's on WOT sounds like a race car.

Overall to get both installed took ~6 hours. 4-5 of the bolts are VERY hard to get to w/o taking out the motor. (I didn't take out the motor) I am very happy. The throttle feels much better, the difference is noticeable. Not only in the tone of your car but performance wise. I do have one question though. When I installed the down pipe, the original downpipe had 2 bong/bung??? holes and the new one only has 1. I put in the O2 Sensor in which I guessed would be the correct one. No codes yet! Any Ideas? Do I need to weld in a 2nd hole?

 

good job on the install. yeah, the first time took me a while also. but now takes about 20mins. would be a good idea to put both sensors back on. but don't think you really need if your tune with the 420code off.
