Header/DP to Megan

Right now I have the stock header/downpipe combo going into the stock catback with an axle back Megan Racing Universal muffler. The exhaust tone right now sounds amazing, very deep grumble to it. Once the car is at tempurature there's absolutely no rasp period. I have GM Stage 2, but I'm definately overboosting. Seeing numbers of over 18 psi at redline in 3rd gear.

What would be a good Header/downpipe combo to get the performance gains I need, but also to keep my exhaust sounding nice and deep and preferably staying close to the same amount of loudness, but most of all keeping it raspless like it is right now. I love the tone of my exhaust as it is right now, but I need to get the head/dp taken care of soon so I can get my boost numbers down and my hp/tq numbers up.

I was thinking maybe Bad-Mab shorty header into zzp 3" catted downpipe and then into the stock catback with the megan racing muffler I have now.

u think that'll keep a decent tone along with adding good performance and lower my psi? I wanna stay away from the rasp like it is now.

Pacesetter is a pretty good/cheap route to go. I have the pacesetter header/dp into a Megan catback. It's a good sound but loud without the silencer. I've heard people recommend another resonator to keep the sound deep and quieter. Header cost me less than $200 and the dp was $200 and some change plus shipping brand new.

Best of luck

Just my two cents on the Bad Mab Logged it tonight with hpt and my 60-100 time improved a good amount with just adding this paired with a zzp 3' catless dp.

How's the sound with the bad-mab? bad mab with zzp 3" catted downpipe is the setup i'm most interested in. I want to stay catted cause i'm more interested in keeping a decent sound than i am the few extra horses from being catless.
