Megan Catback Or GMPP catback?`

I like how the Megan Catback sound on SS/sc ...do they all sound like that....do they have the same gains as the gmpp. Megan is 342.00+50.00shipped compare to 434.00 including shipping...anybody have a MR catback here??

I have GMPP touring and just love it. I heard a good clip of meagan last night on the web... so its ure call. Meagan have 2.5inch where GMPP has 2.25. So on paper the meagan should have better gains, but I felt more power when i put mine on. And GMPP will keep your warranty and is borla quality!! Just depends how much WHP your going for.. over 275whp IMO GMPP is to small, but under that, you should be completely fine!

I much prefer the look of the Megan Racing over the GMPP.........sorry guys, just not into basically stock looking exhausts. I've always been a fan of canister style exhausts.....had them on all my cars before the 'balt. However, i've heard nothing but BAD things about the Megan Racing cat-back, and as far as Megan Racing goes as a brand....well, alot of my friends have had problems with their stuff in the past. If your willing to pay some extra money and you like the look of the Megan, then get the ARK N2......but please don't b/c I was the first (and am still the ONLY) 2.4 to have the ARK N2.......I was actually the second person to even have it on a Cobalt (excluding the 2.2's which had ARK exhausts out for them before the SS exhaust was introduced), only behind the person who was the tester, lol. But if you must, the ARK has great quality, fit/finish, sound and all that good stuff.

But between the two you listed, I say GMPP.

I personally LOVE my Magnaflow 2.5". It sounds so nice and gets a lot of looks. If you are looking into a 2.5", Magnaflow has great gains and an incredible sound. But of the two you mentioned, Ive really only heard good things about the GMPP.

Actually the magnaflow for the 2.2 and 2.4 is 2.25 inch. Only the SS/SC gets the 2.5 catback. Unless buddy sold you the wrong catback*

Nah, I knew the difference, and on magnaflow.com it lists the 2.4 and 2.0 as part 16199, the 2.5". I talked it over with the guy who helped with the install and he said the .25" wont hurt performance. And Im extremely happy with how it turned out.

My bad, ure right. The 2.2 is 2.25 and 2.4/2.0 2.5. But I knew they made 2.25 for our cars. Yeah .25 isnt a big difference.

But again man, if it boils down to megean or GMPP, GMPP hands down. Good price, awesome sound, perfect quality!
