Header Install ?'s

I searched but either came up with too many to find what i needed, or nothing at all, so I was going to put this in the lounge, but I need 2.0 help so here it is. I got the CTI header and downpipe, but my shop won't be able to install it for 2 weeks. I think I am going to install it tonight in the driveway. Please HELP. Any hint's tips, problems you had, everything. I have done stuff like this before, but never on FWD 4Cyl.

i would use a lift for that kinda stuff. leverage is key with some of those bolts.

The area where the header is quite roomy. You shouldn't have too much trouble from below. There is a lot more room than my z24 had. Be careful with the head bolts, don't over torque them. The rest should be nice.

Did you get the 2.5" downtube or the 3"?

1. Night before spray those damn bolts down with wd40, avoid the o2 sensor but soak them...
2. perform work while engine is dead cold...
3. socket extensions you will need them keep em close.
a. bolts from Header/Downpipe easy from down below
b. bolts from block/header need to from top and belwo
c. havent considered it previously but im curious if removing the hood, and wiper cowel helps any

I know its an old post but dont waste your time with WD 40. Use PB blaster if you are anywhere that uses salt.
