It will cause a vibration that could damage the coating on the header (if there is one). It will probably be very annoying. I would talk to who ever you got the header from and see if it is a flawed part or if you need to look for another header. Which header is it?

I would contact Kenny at CA or Paul (06blackg85ss) about it and see what they have to say.

i had to heat treat and form my ca header to fit properly, the vibrations may also cause the header to push against the coolent pipe and cause it to leak. you can rotate the pipe with no fit issues also.

I don't know how sensetive these cars are to noises, but could also create some fasle KR which will hurt performance.

when you take off the header....you can just rotate the coolant pipe by hand so that the little arc in the pipe that the header is pressing against is facing the other way....thats the easy way to fix it.

the only thing i kan think of is when u hit a hard bump that the pipe may rotate and slip on the the header...but i dont c that happening....but you shouldnt have any problems......like i said, mines been heat treated and formed so i have 0 issues. you should be ok
