Heat Exchanger needed?

Will I be doing any harm running my 2.9 without a front mounted heat exchanger, or do I need to install it now.

I haven't gone to the dyno yet, so I do not know. I manage Pro Care Collision in Flower Mound, TX and with the exception of the Stage II kit, I had the rest of the stuff installed by one of my techs.

YOUR CAR HAS A FRONT MOUNTED HEAT EXCHANGER, ITS RIGHT INFRONT OF YOUR RAD.

the mod with the cobra heat exchanger is an UPGRADE.

just so you all know, when people do the H/E mod....you arent replacing the stocker with a different HE

your ADDING another H/E in series with the stock one.
the addition of all the extra cooling fins, as well as extra coolant, combines for a very effective cheap mod.

Any time you are spinning the Super faster than GM Does you should be thinking of upgrading the Cooling system. Will you notice with a butt dyno NO>>> But will you notice if you are racing 1 right after another or just driving around the car retains more Constant HP Yes! I have been on a dyno 2 differnt times for a total of 7 pulls done back to back at 87 degrees & The car never lost more than 3 hp to Heat soak! Actually my 3rd pull on the 1st Visit was my strongest!

It's not necessary to tune for the meth kit for it to run. If you use a small jet, you can just use it cooling principles/minor octane booster.

If you use a correct sized jet and tune for it by adding some more timing, more power can be had for sure.

To the OP, the dual pass mod would be perfect for your setup at the moment. Then the Devil's Own Meth kit after that, followed by the front mount HE.

Does someone have a link to explain what the heck a Water/Meth injection kit does, how it works? I know what a dual pass does, and how it works, same as a H/E, but how does the injection work?

I know that. I was simply asking if I needed the front mounted one right now, or if I could wait a little bit.
