Help With Airbox Mod
Is There anyone in the central jersey area that can do this airbox mod for me ill pay someone $50 to do it im to lazy to do it and i obviously cant bring it to my dealer lol. I Put Every Bolt On Possible Myself On The 94 Mustang Gt. i had the tough stuff done in a shop. But this cobalt is a pain in the ass to work on everythings so close.

avoid K&N filters if you can.....they are known to cause issues due to our very sensitive MAF sensor.
go for something like the AEM dryflow. no oil on the filter....no cel.

And another thing since u r still usen a stock set-up the filter jus slides into the box no clamps or anything so it could fall off.

not exactly....
they do serve a purpose if you go with a smaller pully/exhaust etc
its nowhere near the bullshit claims of 15whp that some companies will say.
but it always helps to allow your car to breath freely.

I used 4 zipties put them thru the screw holes and threaded the screws back thru. wala. No budge at all.

Manufactures will tell you anything to get their products sold such as hp increases. Dyno tests dont mean a dang thing in comparison either for intakes as the dyno operator can easily adjust to make any kind of numbers come out in testing before and after.

I'm sure i can do it but im lazy. I'm not doing it for a power increase im doing it because i love the sound of the supercharger screaming. Sounds like a Jet taking off

I'm going to have to disagree with you...I work with jets every day ( USAF ). haha...These cars with intakes sound NOTHING like jets. hahaha...but nice try.

duh of course not as loud but the pitch is similar i seen jets take off plenty of times and seen a Truck with 3 jet engines run down the track in english town maybe not the full throttle take off but when the engines start up the pitch is real similar

I use to work at the airport and had to fuel those damn t-37's loud bastards. More high pitched than loud but man I hate those things
