stock battery is a group 90 with the following dimensions:

L = 9 11/16
W = 6 7/8
H = 6 7/8

the kinetic hc1800 should fit fine

I would trust Blazzin. Plus it is simple dimension comparison. He works for his family's battery distribution company and installs high end batteries almost everyday.

simple to do go out to ur car and measure the battery compartment. Only thing I would worry about is the height. You spent 3x as much time/energy waiting for someone to post their opinion when you could of just walked out to your car and measured yourself.

Also if your battery is going dead/low then it is safe to say that you need a bigger alternator or a two battery setup.

ok. you posted different measurements in your first post so i didn't bother to look them up. the only thing i would be worried about is the height pushing up on the rear carpet.

Other than the tie down, I don't imagine size is an issue anyway, there's a lot of room in the trunk

How many watts is your system? I was pushing 1600 watts with some old audiobahn alum q 12's 2 farad capacitor(had dual amps) after market head unit when I had my 97 taurus swapped to an Optima yellow top and never had an issue and I believe I ran that battery for around 4-5 years minimum.

Our batteries should last a little longer as they are away from the heat of an engine bay. I am still on my stock battery from 2005 and 70k miles with no signs of dieing.
