Hey, alright so.. Last night I was sitting outside a friends house and noticed my car sounded like the engine was that of a diesel truck.. The engine literally sounds like that. Anyways a CEL keeps coming on and off.. I'm not too sure whats up!? Anybody know?

 

well, if it's flashing on and off......means you have a cyliner misfire, p0300 or maybe even cylinder specific. Get the code read and see what's going on.

 

No. It isn't flashing. It just will be on sometimes, and sometimes not.

well, you need to find out what code it is throwing man....there's hundreds of em.

 

How do I do this?

 

well, you can go to autozone, advance auto, place like that....they will scan thecode and tell you what it is. Or bring it to the dealer if you have warranty they will look at it for you
